AIM Assessment Innovation Matters
I speak, write, conduct research, and consult internationally on assessment innovations that matter: ones emphasizing equity and positive real-world impact that educators, policy makers, and the public can understand. Specializations include determining when innovation does and does not make sense, personalizing assessment through generative AI and non-AI means, responsibly incorporating AI into assessment, validity and fairness, socioculturally responsive assessment, formative assessment, and assessment research.

I focus on clarity and simplicity, making complex assessment ideas accessible and actionable.
